The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT) is the largest teaching body of the Alexander Technique that regulates training courses, sets standards, and contributes to scientific research. I trained with the Cumbria Alexander Training School from 2000 to 2003, a three-year full-time training course of 1,600 hours to become an accredited Alexander Technique teacher.
I trained on their year-long Foundation course 2019, and Applied year training courses 2020. And their Associate course in 2022.
